Partners
Chipo studied at the University of Cape Town and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics & Law and further read for her LLB with the University of South Africa. Thereafter, she obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in International Construction Law from Aarhus University in Denmark.
Her career commenced as an Investment Analyst for a Pan – African stock broking firm for 6 years, before training at one of Zimbabwe’s leading commercial Law firm for another 6 years. Chipo left the firm as Associate Partner to co-found ChimukaMafunga Commercial Attorneys. In the course of her career Chipo gained unique insight on keeping focus throughout high-pressure situations. Managing deadlines efficiently and dealing with tense clients have become second nature for her.
At ChimukaMafunga Commercial Attorneys, Chipo is the Managing Partner and she deals mainly with Real Estate, Securitization and Construction Law. In 2023 she completed the Leadership in Law Firms (LLF) program, an intensive study for senior law firm leaders which is offered by the Havard Law School.

Norman Chimuka is a co-founder of ChimukaMafunga Commercial Attorneys and a Chambers Global 2026 ranked lawyer, recognised as Up and Coming in General Business Law – Zimbabwe. He is noted by Chambers for his expertise in commercial mandates, including M&A transactions and financing matters.
Norman graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree (LLBS) and later obtained a Master of Laws Degree in Commercial Law (LMCO) from the same institution. He began his career with one of Zimbabwe’s leading commercial law practices, where he rose to Associate Partner before co-founding ChimukaMafunga Commercial Attorneys.
His practice focuses on corporate strategy, investment transactions, banking, energy, mining and infrastructure. He leads the firm’s Litigation and ADR, Corporate and Institutional Compliance, and Energy, Mining and Infrastructure departments. Norman has advised listed entities in Zimbabwe and abroad on tactical legal initiatives, complex commercial transactions and strategic restructurings.
He sits on the boards of several Zimbabwean companies and is a former board member of the National Building Society. Chambers recognises him for his deep understanding of corporate and commercial regulatory requirements in Zimbabwe, as well as his knowledgeability and availability to clients.

Wellington holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours degree (LLBS) from the University of Zimbabwe. He practiced at two leading Zimbabwean law firms before joining ChimukaMafunga Commercial Attorneys. At the firm, Wellington has a keen interest in Employment Law, Commercial Litigation and ADR, Corporate Advisory, Corporate and Trade Finance and Regulatory and Compliance issues. He is currently reading towards his MBA; majoring in finance.

Associate Partners
Tonderai is an Associate Partner at the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree (LLBS) and a Master of Laws Degree in Commercial Law (LMCO) from the University of Zimbabwe. He commenced his practice as an intern at the Advocates Chambers under one of the most senior advocates in the country. The work that he did there referred to complex litigation and extensive research in various areas of commercial practice. Thereafter, he practiced at two different firms before joining ChimukaMafunga Commercial Attorneys.
At the firm, Tonderai specializes in Litigation and ADR, Corporate Due Diligence, Corporate and Trade Finance, Loan Syndication, Exchange Control and Regulatory and Compliance issues as well as Mergers and Acquisitions. Tonderai also handles our intellectual property department which assists clients with IP advisory and registrations.

Dillon is a Senior Associate in the Litigation & General Work Department. He holds an LLB degree from the University of South Africa and a Certificate in International Human Rights from the Raul Wallenberg Institute in Sweden.
Dillon commenced his legal career in 2021, and he practiced at two leading Zimbabwean law firms before joining ChimukaMafunga Commercial Attorneys. He has practiced in both commercial and litigation-focused legal environments prior to joining the firm.
